Soloists
Keith Swallow won an open scholarship at the age of sixteen and went to study at the Royal Manchester College of Music where he was awarded prizes for piano and accompanying, and an MMus Degree of the Royal College, London. He was later made an honorary fellow of the college.
Well known for his concerts throughout the country, he has performed in France and Germany, played concertos with several BBC
Omnibusprogrammes.He broadcasts regularly as accompanist, soloist, chamber music player and piano duettist, and has taken part in most of our major festivals - Harrogate, Leeds, Cheltenham, King's Lynn, Three Choirs, Chester, Buxton and Llandaff for example.
He has made records with the late Owen Brannigan, Alfreda Hodgson, Ian Wallace, Janet Hilton (clarinet), the BBC Northern Singers and the Black Dyke Mills Band.
